The Eric Tomney Memorial Observatory (ETMO) has been operational for a year now so please come and see what we've been up to. We'll open up the observatory (weather permitting), show off some astrophotography, and experienced astronomers will be on hand with telescopes, giant binoculars, cameras and other weird and wonderful equipment. If the weather is kind to us we will observe the Sun using special equipment during the day, and do some evening observing once it is dark.
The event will run from noon until 4pm at the observatory in Mugdock Country Park and in the Campsie room in the visitor centre. Entry is free.
